I love letters, words, and stories—reading, writing, teaching, and sharing them!

Calligraphy is such a wonderful and beautiful way to remember inspiring words, good stories, and happy memories. Life is too short, too ephemeral (hello The Little Prince fans), that we need to find ways to remember the good things, the good people, the good feelings we’ve had before they get harder to remember. Especially when we’re currently surrounded by one bad news after the other.

My room and work desk are fully peppered with my and other artists’ calligraphy pieces on paper or digital ones that I printed of inspiring words, quotes, song lyrics, self-love affirmations. I just love being surrounded by words. (Side note: work desk is also peppered with coffee and calligraphy ink stains and spills, yikes!)

I have a unique style of calligraphy and floral illustration. I am a good listener and appreciate personal stories and small details. 

I also love drawing flowers and leaves! They’re pretty, dainty, and elegant. Each flower illustration has its own personality and story to tell!

Calligraphy has been a way for me to de-stress, meditate, and simply just zone the world out. It’s a great practice to focus on your breathing and just be aware of your simple hand movements and strokes. The practice of calligraphy has served me well, and I keep learning from other awesome calligraphers and expanding my knowledge!
